Description
Light and refreshing Riesling Italico - an ancient grape - is combined with crisp, thirst-quenching Sauvignon, grown in pre-Roman vineyards.
Wine has been made in this part of the Danube since the 4th century. Production flourished after the conquering Romans established the city of Drobeta - a great trading centre and now home to Domaine Danubiane.
Dry, with floral aromas and lemon and grapefruit flavours with a hint of exotic fruit. Delicate on the finish, it will match beautifully with white meat or seafood dishes.
