Fabulous - blew me away. Just goes to show that traditional fermentation techniques and a certain amount of contact with wood (oak) brings out the best in Sauvignon Blanc. Forget your spritzy gooseberry, tart, thin flavours and screwcap bottles and let's have more wines like this, full bodied and supple with bags of black currant and cat's pee on the nose and a depth of flavour that just goes on and on, without having to resort to 15+ alcohol and that metallic tang that is so common now-a-days. - Mr C J Abbott, West Sussex - 27/11/2008 22:18:29
