Description
Natives of the Worcester region for over 150 years, the Lategan family have a prodigious knowledge of the area. With this experience, it is no wonder they win so many awards! They recently picked up a double gold in South Africa's 'Veritas' competition, and De Wet Lategan who now runs the winery, has won Best Young Winemaker TWICE in the last few years.

Lategan 'Barrel Chardonnay' is the estate's premium white, made from purely Chardonnay, fermented and matured for nine months in wooden barrels to marry the rich fruit flavours with delicious creamy notes of oak.

With its ripe tropical fruit flavours and spicy oaky notes, this white will make a fine partner to rich fish dishes such as salmon en croute, or with white meats such as roast chicken or turkey.
