Description
Ferocious droughts dramatically reduced grape yields in Australia's 2007 harvest, bringing concentration levels through the roof. Great news for fans of Oz's richest reds … if you can get your hands on some!
Luckily, we've a few precious cases of Brightlands brand new release - a sumptuous Malbec Shiraz blend that's bursting with ripe, chocolaty-rich charm. Winemaker Tony Ingle picked grapes at night to ensure the grapes were as fresh as possible before they were crushed. A short spell in oak united the wine's complex spice and black fruit layers, whilst adding a luxuriously toasty backbone.
Inky dark purple, this wine has classic Malbec aromas, liquorice and plum are predominant. The Shiraz fills the mouth, offering a finish that's bursting with rich spice. Ideal with red meats, beef, lamb and pork sausages.
