Description
Berton Open Basket is a very moreish, quaffable red from Bob Berton who has been working in the industry for the last 18 years. In 2006, he decided to go solo, buying a cellar in Riverina, New South Wales. He already had a tiny plot of vines in the Eden Valley, South Australia, where he makes tiny quantities of wine. He employed two good mates as winemakers - Belinda Morandin and James Ceccato - with whom he worked before and, for the last two vintages, has been making some highly successful wines.
