In 2005, master winemaker Julián Múrua celebrated his 40th anniversary at Bodegas Muriel, a family owned domain located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Here, he produces Barón de Barbón - "arguably the greatest Rioja on sale in the UK" (Will Lyons).

To commemorate this anniversary, Julián decided to produce one of the greatest Rioja's of his career. Made from exceptional sun-ripe Tempranillo grapes, grown on the family's most cherished, old-vine vineyard, Barón de Barbón Aniversario Rioja certainly lives up to this promise!
