One of biggest, darkest reds you're likely to come across! Our senior tasting panel here at HQ were seriously impressed with its deep, dark ruby colour, big 15% weight of dark spicy fruit and serious structure … and were amazed to find such oak-aged, rich-fruit red at such a great price!

Made from the major Port grape Tinta Roriz, and delicious local variety Castelão, by a family of winemakers who at the turn of the 19th century were amongst the greatest producers and exporters of Portuguese wine.

Impressively mouthfilling, weighty fruit, smooth coffee and chocolate notes courtesy of time in American and Portuguese oak. Its complexity and structure make it ideal with roast beef and duck, stews, rich game dishes and mature hard cheeses.
