Description
Fine Gran Reserva requires a great vintage, skilled winemaking and, importantly, time. After nearly a decade in Spain's historic Gil family cellar, this is perfect to drink right now! Three years in fine oak casks has imbued a sweet vanilla character to the ripe bramble fruit of 50-year-old vines and rounded the tannins to perfection.

What sets this Gran Reserva apart from lesser imitations is the top quality blend of grapes. Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Garnacha come together in perfect harmony - with a helping hand from the consummate professionals at the Elias Gil family winery.

Burgundy coloured with complex aromas of jam and fruits of the forest against a subtle spicy backdrop of vanilla, bay leaf and black pepper. The wine is full bodied and savoury with fine, gentle tannins. A long finish with hints of tobacco.
