Description
Situated at the foot of the LaGuardia hill with the Sierra de Cantabria behind it, this family run cellar sees the main vinification take place below ground (keeping the temperature cooler) in a 14th century, listed building (thus restricting over expansion).

The cooler climate of the area allows longer ripening, leading to greater character in the grapes. The smooth and supple flavours of this cherished Rioja make this a fine partner for rare roast beef or ripe cheeses.

Aged in American oak for 4 months
