Description
A truly delicious Limoncello based on an old family recipe from the 19th Century. Made in the traditional manner using Oval lemons from Sorrento. These fruits are renowned for being the most concentrated and flavoursome and enjoy protected origin status, on a par with foods like Parma Ham.
Brothers Sergio and Stefano Massa founded the company in 1991 and are proud of the fact that their award-winning Limoncello contains no artificial flavourings, colouring or preservatives (unlike some mass market offerings) … just Oval Sorrento lemons, water, sugar and alcohol.
Remember, to enjoy this tongue-tingling liqueur at its best, keep the bottle in the freezer and sip it ice-cold … fantastic!

This reminds me of so many beautiful meals served al fresco on a hot summers afternoon in the shade of several sweet chestnut trees. The wonderful aromas of Italian cuisine, the rustic flavours of herbs and garlic, wild mushrooms and if you're really lucky perhaps even white truffles.
