McKenzie River Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2020
Oregon’s premium Willamette Valley produces Pinot Noir that can rival bottles from France’s famed Burgundy region (at a friendlier price). Named for the river that runs through the valley, this silky, red-fruited Pinot is your delectable proof.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Wine Details

Beyond the Label

“Oregon is right now the single most exciting winemaking area in the United States.”
—The New York Times

And that’s especially true for Pinot Noir fans. Oregon’s premium Willamette Valley produces Pinot Noir that can rival bottles from France’s famed Burgundy region (Pinot’s spiritual homeland)—at a friendlier price.

How is that possible? The Willamette Valley has a similar climate to Burgundy—its lengthy growing season and refreshingly cool temperatures give Pinot plenty of time to ripen and ensure vibrancy. The two regions also lie on the same latitude (45° North). Considering all this, it should come as little surprise that Burgundian house Maison Drouhin has had an estate here since the 1970s.

Named for the river that runs through the Willamette Valley, McKenzie River hails from top vineyards and the stellar 2020 vintage. Look forward to perfumed floral notes plus vibrant cherry and raspberry flavors. With silky tannins and intriguing hints of spice, it makes a lovely aperitif and is even better with food. Pair it with anything from roasted turkey to grilled salmon.

As you can imagine, Oregon Pinot Noir is in rightfully high demand among our customers (and wine fans worldwide). Act now to secure your share.
