Bloom & Bounty Arneis 2019

Bloom & Bounty showcases the Arneis grape variety, a big star in its native northern Italy that produces some of the country’s finest whites. It’s rare to see Arneis grown outside of Italy, but the grape really thrives in sunny California. And thanks to her many contacts across the Golden State, Kristina knew exactly where to head for the best fruit ...

Located within premium Paso Robles, the El Pomar district was once home to thousands of acres of orchards and almond groves. Today, farmers favor vineyards instead – and for good reason. The vines benefit from brilliant sunshine (key to ripening grapes to perfection) and ancient alluvial soils, which help the fruit develop complex flavors. There’s only one vineyard in El Pomar (and all of Paso Robles) that grows Arneis. When she saw the quality of its 2019 harvest, Kristina convinced the growers to set aside a parcel just for our customers.

The final wine is truly a testament to the ‘Bloom & Bounty’ of this special vineyard. Look forward to perfumed almond blossom, honey, and ripe, orchard-fruit characters. Full bodied and luscious, yet still delightfully fresh, it’ll shine with roasted white meats, creamy vegetarian pastas, and more.
