Beyond the Label

“Sicily is one of the most exciting wine regions in the world. That goes particularly for the reds, which are not heavy at all but fresh and lively.”
—The New York Times

And you’re in for a taste of Sicilian excellence with this fabulous new red. Gibilmoro showcases the island’s flagship grape, Nero d’Avola, and has everything going for it.

Talented winemaker Davide di Prima crafted Gibilmoro with organically grown Nero d’Avola grapes from his family’s prime-sited vineyards. After working his magic in the winery, he also aged the wine for 12 months in French oak barrels. All that attention to quality has really paid off...

Gibilmoro has won the coveted ‘5 Foglie’ (five leaves) rating from Guida Bio (Italy’s leading source on organic food and wine) plus 93 points from the Terre Sicane Wine Festival and 90 points from top critic Luca Maroni.

You’re in for ripe cherry, blackberry and plum aromas, supported by toasty spice and roasted coffee notes. The palate is well structured, with more vibrant dark-berry flavors plus hints of dried fruit and chocolate. Take Davide’s advice and serve it with Italian-inspired dishes like Bistecca alla Fiorentina or hearty pastas.

Fine Sicilian Nero d’Avolas can easily sell for $30 (or much more) a bottle, so you’re enjoying a great deal here. Order your share of this highly rated red today.
