Flavor Profile
For many Sauvignon Blanc fans, the mere mention of Pouilly-Fumé makes their mouths water. It’s one of France’s finest whites, and Les Chemins de l’Abbaye is an especially thrilling example. A tiny-batch exclusive from the president of the local growers’ syndicate, it’s ideally balanced, with minerality, citrus and herbaceous tones working in perfect harmony.
Katia Mauroy-Gauliez’s quality-focused approach is known throughout the region and during this vintage, her ideally situated, hillside vineyards produced Sauvignon Blanc of incredible flavor, aroma and concentration. Working alongside her brother Cédric and daughter Alexandra, Katia selected the finest from the bunch, then treated the resulting wine with kid-glove care from cellar to bottle.
You’re in for a complex, bone-dry wine with vibrant, food-friendly acidity and expressive lemon characters kissed by notes of fresh-cut grass. Pair with seared pork chops topped with an herbed goat cheese-butter mixture, fresh seafood or simple goat cheese and crackers.
Limited cases available—hurry for your share.
