White Zinfandel (aka Zinfandel Blush) represents everything that’s wonderful about California wine. Crafted from California’s signature grape, Zinfandel, it’s made in a gorgeously refreshing rosé style with a pretty pink color and slightly sweet, red-fruit flavors. Named in honor of California’s first state flag (a bear and star drawn on a petticoat), Petticoat hails from the renowned Kautz family and the excellent 2020 vintage. After selecting the ripest parcels from their vineyards, the Kautzes gave the grapes a very gentle pressing—the key to extracting the beautiful pale-pink color and all that vibrant fruit flavor.
You’re in for a treat with layers of ripe strawberry, raspberry and watermelon aromas and flavors. With a kiss of sweetness, this lovely pink wine is a treat all on its own, and equally tasty with summer salads, seafood or mildly spicy dishes.
