Beyond the Label

When Italians host a celebration, you can guarantee they’ll choose Prosecco over Champagne. And it isn’t just because it’s made in their own country—Joyfully light and crisp, the Italian sparkler is way more affordable and plenty delicious. Alessandro Gallici Prosecco is consistently one of our favorites, with delightful citrus and melon characteristics.

.

Like all Prosecco, it’s made with Glera grapes, and those used for this bottling were sourced from the hills around Venice, where they’ve been grown for centuries. Alessandro Gallici brings them into his specialist cellar, presses them and employs the Charmat method to create fine and persistent bubbles.

The resulting wine has a long track record of big acclaim and high levels of deliciousness. You can expect inviting aromas of white flowers and freshly sliced peach, plus flavors of yellow apple, stone fruits and a kiss of food-friendly sweetness.

If you’ve not enjoyed Prosecco before, you really must try this beauty.
