Beyond the Label

Pink Port?

Yes, it’s definitely a thing. In fact, it’s essential sipping in the trendy, riverside bars of Porto. To give you the best possible introduction to the style, we turned to our (famous) friends, the Van Zeller family, who’ve been in the Port game since 1715.

Baronesa de Vilar is a blend of star Port grapes Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Barroca. After a gentle crush, the juice from the grapes was “bled off” the skins, leaving behind a gorgeous, deep-pink color. But the eye-catching hue is only the beginning. Pop the cork, and you’re in for a rush of lusciously sweet strawberry and red cherry flavors, edged with a juicy liveliness that’ll have you reaching for sip after sip.

Enjoy a chilled glass on its own, or try it with a dish of chocolate gelato for a seriously tasty treat. If you’re feeling like a cocktail, try making the Van Zeller’s riff on the Gin & Tonic (the recipe’s on the hangtag ’round the bottle’s neck).

No matter how you plan to enjoy this lively Pink Port, get your order in soon. We have very limited cases.
