Here’s an exclusive, carefully crafted Pinot Noir from Buena Vista, California’s oldest premium winery, and the superb 2018 vintage. Our California expert calls it “a vibrant, pure wine with lively, red-fruit character and soft berry aromas.” When you taste it, you’ll quickly understand why.
Agoston Haraszthy de Mokesa, the self-proclaimed ‘Count’ of Buena Vista, established the winery in 1857. While planting the first vineyards, the Count and his team excavated huge stone caves (hence this special release’s name) for aging and storing wines – said to run all the way from Carneros to Napa! Today, Buena Vista remains a top estate. It was crowned the 2013 Winery of the Year by the California Travel Association and thrives as part of Burgundy’s acclaimed Boisset house (who have world-class Pinot Noir running through their blood).
Showing a gorgeous, ruby red in the glass, this Pinot Noir brims with soft, red berry and rose petal aromas. Ripe strawberry and raspberry flavors lead to a concentrated, clean finish. Delightfully fruity, it makes a delicious aperitif for red wine drinkers, but it also pairs wonderfully with roasted duck or grilled salmon.
This vibrant, pure red is a must-try for Pinot Noir lovers. Order quickly to ensure your share.
