Yarrunga Field Special Reserve White 2020
When this vibrant, fruity white was first launched, critic Oz Clarke called it “Aussie sunshine in a glass.” And that’s still deliciously true of the fresh 2020 vintage, made by talented winemaker Emma Norbiato at the renowned Calabria Family Wines.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Beyond the Label

Back when Yarrunga Field was first launched some 20 years ago, top critic Oz Clarke called it “Aussie sunshine in a glass.” Ever since, this ‘Special Reserve’ white has been a big hit with critics and customers alike. And the new 2020 release is another delicious addition to that legacy.

Talented winemaker Emma Norbiato works her magic at the Calabria family’s renowned estate. A true innovator, she varies the recipe for Yarrunga Field a little bit each year—but it’s always fun, fresh and easy to love. Thanks to New South Wales’ great 2020 vintage, Emma had her pick of beautifully ripe grapes...and the results are simply stunning.

The 2020 release is mostly creamy Sémillon (one of Bordeaux’s great whites), with a healthy dose of fruity Italian superstar Trebbiano. Splashes of lush Chardonnay and zingy Verdelho (a Portuguese native) round out the blend. The final wine has vibrant tropical fruit, melon and spice flavors, with juicy acidity and a succulent finish.

Emma recommends enjoying a glass of this ‘Special Reserve’ on its own to savor its unique flavor profile. But if you’re feeling hungry, go for spicy Asian or Latin foods (the fruit flavors will offset the heat), seafood dishes or grilled white meats.

Sunshine in a glass, indeed! Secure your share of this lovely Australian white today.
