Historically, their wines have been quaffed by diplomats and popes, and for more than 30 years, star winemaker Donato Lanati has been keeping the family wine legacy alive in the cellar. Last vintage, this fine Gavi di Gavi earned 95 points from International Wine Challenge judges, who raved: “Gavi de Gavi at its best. Fragrant, ethereal Gavi with a serious edge.
