Alessandro Gallici Prosecco Anniversario Rosato 2024

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Flavor Profile
Northern Italian winemaker Alessandro Gallici is known far and wide for the craftsmanship he puts into every bottle of sparkling wine he makes. Each release of his limited-edition Anniversary Prosecco becomes highly sought after, so much so that he decided to craft Alessandro Gallici Prosecco Anniversary Rosato—a delightful red-fruited pink version available in even more limited quantities.
To craft the beautiful rosé Prosecco, he blended perfectly ripe Glera (the variety used for all Prosecco) and Pinot Noir from his favorite organic vineyard, 47 Anno Domini. Named for the famous Roman road (built way back in 47 A.D.) that borders the vineyard, the Roncade, Italy site is certified organic by a local organization and is farmed only with natural vegetable-derived fertilizers.
This gentle farming works in concert with the area’s mineral-rich soil, ample sunlight and gentle sea breezes to help grapes develop an extra intensity of flavor. To ensure the fruit for this special cuvée retains its vibrancy, Alessandro doesn’t let it travel too far for production, either; he works with a local winery to shepherd the grapes through the bubble-producing Charmat method with kid-glove level care. And as if that wouldn’t be thrilling enough, he bottles the finished wine in gorgeous beveled glass—a signature of his luxury-edition sparklers.
Of course, it’s what’s inside the bottle that really counts, and we can safely say Alessandro’s creation does not disappoint. Look forward to a bevvy of raspberry, cherry and strawberry flavors layered with perfumed floral tones along a delicate stream of bubbles. We recommend you order a few bottles while we still have decent stock, then chill well, pop carefully and pour generously.
