Beyond the Label

This fine white hails from southern France’s celebrated Bonfils family and the excellent 2020 vintage—and it’s also a remarkable value (especially when compared to the southern Rhône’s great whites). It’s crafted from Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne (the latter being one of the grapes used in Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s sought-after, heady whites), and offers up intense aromas and flavors of apple and juicy pear, with subtle hints of hazelnut and more.

Wine judges have given it a big thumbs-up over the years, too, including a trophy at the Decanter World Wine Awards and kudos from award-winning critic Matthew Jukes:

“This is a beautifully balanced and creamily textured wine with an alluring, peachy nose and succulent honeysuckle and pear palate. A grand wine designed for fish main courses or roast pork, it is a real treat.”

Look forward to more of the delicious same with this latest release. Kept ultra-fresh under screwcap, it also offers well-balanced, vibrant acidity that makes it a very food-friendly choice—go for roasted chicken, lentil dishes, grilled veggies and more. Whatever you’re serve, we guarantee your dinner guests will rave.
