Coyote Mint Gruner Veltliner 2019
If you’ve yet to taste Grüner Veltliner (or Gru-Vee, as devoted fans call it), you’re in for a real treat here. Inspired by a local wildflower, Coyote Mint hails from Washington’s cool Yakima Valley and overflows with lovely floral and citrus notes.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Wine Details

Beyond the Label

Grüner Veltliner (or ‘Grü-Vee,’ as it’s called by fans) has grown to prominence as Austria’s star white grape. But this rare variety has also found a happy home in Washington State. If you’ve yet to try ‘Grü-Vee’ – or are ready for another taste – you’re in for a real treat here.

Named after a beautiful wildflower (depicted on the label by 20th-century artist Ernest Clayton), Coyote Mint hails from the premium Yakima Valley, Washington’s first officially recognized wine region. With a moderate growing season and sunny sloping vineyards, the valley is an ideal spot for vineyards. And the grapes that produced this elegant Grüner Veltliner were beautifully ripe and fresh.

What does that mean for the wine in your glass? Look forward to delicate meadow flower, green apple, and lemon-lime characters. Crisp and dry, Coyote Mint makes a lovely, lightly chilled aperitif and is equally delicious with vegetarian fare, seafood, or gently spicy cuisine.

Grüner Veltliner might not be the world’s most famous white (yet), but it definitely deserves a spot in your wine rack. Secure your share of this gorgeous exclusive today.
