Wine Flavor Profile
DeLoach Private Collection Zinfandel is a full-bodied red wine with low- to medium acidity and low tannins. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe raspberry and black cherry preserves. The palate is fruit-forward and jammy, with flavors of dark berries, dried plums and oak.
Wine Food Pairings
Grilled steak, barbecue, burgers, turkey, pork, spicy dishes (esp. with Cajun seasonings), eggplant, meaty pasta dishes.

Made by the estate's talented head winemaker, Brian Maloney, with grapes from low-yielding old vines, it’s immediately enticing with aromas of ripe raspberry and black cherry preserves, lifted by floral accents. Layers of dark berries and dried plums unfurl on the palate, flecked with notes of white pepper and smoky oak. It'd be a surefire winner with roasted turkey and other poultry, beef, hearty rice dishes, and more.
