When her family moved to the island’s western side for her father’s work, she took a keepsake: a vine cutting of Nerello Mascalese.
Years later, she planted a whole vineyard from that single vine, making her special plot one of the first Nerello Mascalese vineyards on Sicily’s western side. This wine hails from that same vineyard, and brims with silky berry and wild herb flavors.
