Casa Santos Lima has been at the forefront of Portugal’s wine revolution and earned heaps of praise along the way (the world’s third-most acclaimed estate, according to the World Ranking of Wine & Spirits). They’ve crafted one acclaimed blockbuster red after the next—and, as the name suggests, Fortissimo just might be their strongest release yet. The previous vintage received gold medals from three international competitions, and we expect this new release to follow suit.

Fortissimo is crafted by the hugely talented Vasco Martins. For his latest release, Vasco blended bold-fruited Touriga Nacional (Portugal’s flagship grape) with noble Syrah, inky-dark Petit Verdot and Alicante Bouschet.

Fortissimo overflows with remarkably concentrated, ripe, black-fruit flavors plus elegant spice notes, thanks to seven months of barrel aging. It’s sure to stand up to all your char-grilled favorites and hearty meals.
