Beyond the Label

The traditional dessert wine of Tuscany, Vin Santo is a super-sweet, concentrated white meant to be sipped and savored slowly. Brand new to our cellars, Prenzoli Collezione Privata Vin Santo del Chianti will be a serious treat, whether you’re new to the style or already a fan.

It’s crafted by renowned winemaker Paolo Masi, who “has made an excellent impression with the estate wines of his family property,” according to top critic Robert Parker. Paolo blended estate-grown Trebbiano di Toscana and Malvasia grapes, which he air dried for five months to concentrate their sugars. Then, he aged the wine for five years in small oak casks called caratelli.

At a decade old, this 2015 Vin Santo is perfectly mature and drinking deliciously. Lusciously sweet and incredibly rich, it offers smooth, concentrated flavors of caramelized orange and apricot.

Extremely limited stocks—available in half bottles (375ml) only. Hurry to secure yours.
