Owned by the Occhetti family for three generations, it boasts several vineyards planted with ancient vines, resulting in low yields but intensely concentrated grapes. Claudio handpicked the ripest grapes, and cool fermented the lot, a technique that locks in all the enticing aromas and flavors you’ll only find in top Gavi.
With its zippy pear, green apple, and white blossom aromas and crisp, citrus-mineral palate, this is the perfect wine to serve guests as an aperitivo.
