Beyond the Label

Named after the “Garden of Spain”—where statuesque stone pines stand sentinel over precious, gnarled old vines—Stone Pine showcases how well Cabernet Sauvignon thrives in Navarra. Delivering ripe black fruit flavors and spice accents, it's a must-taste for those who love the grape or any fans of rich, full-bodied reds..

What makes Navarra such a prime spot for Cab, you ask? The region has a hot, arid climate—ideal for ripening those thick-skinned grapes and developing concentrated flavors. Then there’s the nearby Moncayo mountain range, which provides a much-needed cooling influence and helps the grapes retain freshness and balance.

Of course, region isn’t everything. The winemaking team also did their part, treating the fruit to kid-glove care in the cellar and aging the wine for 16 months in fine French oak barrels. (This is what added those delicious toasty baking spice notes to the wine’s ripe black-fruit flavors.)

Decant the wine an hour or so before serving to open up its full complexity, then enjoy with Spanish-inspired cuisine like roasted lamb, suckling pig or meat paella.

If you’re ready to explore a world of Cabernet beyond Bordeaux and California, then you’ve got to try this exciting Cab. Secure your case today.
