Winemaker Vasco Martins set out to make a red of real power, blending native Portuguese grape Tinta Roriz with Lacrima, an Italian speciality, along with Syrah and Alicante Bouschet to produce something truly bold.

Expect intense aromas of berries and baking spice, leading to a rich, concentrated palate of black plum and bramble, all wrapped up in velvety vanilla-spice notes.

It’s smooth enough to sip on its own, but also makes a fantastic match for both summer barbecue and hearty winter meals. Enjoy it with smoked turkey legs, burgers, ribs, steaks and more.
