From Rioja’s premium Alavesa sub-region and Viña Izadi (a former Wine & Spirits ‘Top 100 Winery’) comes this highly awarded star. Made with grapes from 50-year-old vines and barrel aged for 14 months, it ripples with ripe red fruit and spice.

Rioja Master
Beyond the Label

“If you’re buying wine, few regions around the world offer higher quality and better value than Rioja,” says Wine Spectator. For the very best, savvy wine fans head to premium Rioja Alavesa, widely regarded as Rioja’s top sub-region – and home to this stunning ‘Vintage Selection.’

It’s crafted by the renowned Viña Izadi estate, whose wines have been served to Spain’s King Felipe VI. Their many accolades include a former Wine & Spirits ‘Top 100 Winery’ title and regular high ratings from international critics. In fact, this wine alone boasts a 93-point ‘Rioja Master’ score from Guía Peñín (Spain’s premier wine guide) and 91 points from critic James Suckling.

The team made it with handpicked fruit grown in one of Viña Izadi’s oldest Rioja Alavesa vineyards, where gnarled, 50-year-old vines yield ripe, concentrated grapes. In the cellar, they treated the wine to 14 months in fine American and French oak barrels for extra flavor complexity.

The result? A perfectly balanced marriage of Spain’s flagship red, Tempranillo, and local star Graciano. Look forward to a vibrant, red-fruit core, supported by licorice, spice, and smoky notes. With its soft, round palate and long, smooth finish, it’ll stand up well to hearty beef dishes, traditional paella and more.

Very limited cases imported – hurry for your share.
