Colle Marianna Soave 2020

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Flavor Profile
Soave is one of Italy’s top whites, and it “deserves the kind of acclaim white Burgundy gets,” writes top critic and Master of Wine Jancis Robinson. We think you’ll agree when you taste this elegant exclusive.
Colle Marianna hails from local star Antonio Fattori. The Wine Advocate calls Antonio “one of the most talented winemakers in the Veneto” and says, of all his wines, “his white Soave expressions are the true standouts.” And thanks to the excellent 2020 vintage, there’s never been a better time to try one.
Antonio sourced the fruit for his sophisticated Soave from vines located on the steep slopes of Monte Calvarina, an inactive volcano. Here, ancient volcanic soils impart a flinty minerality to the hand-harvested Garganega grapes. In the cellar, lees stirring and light oak aging add a rich texture and further complexity to the wine.
All that careful attention has earned Colle Marianna 2020 a 92-point rating from leading Italian critic Luca Maroni. It’s a well-deserved follow-up to the 91-point 2019 vintage, about which Gilbert & Gaillard raved: “Brilliant pale yellow with green tints. Racy nose driven by almond, apple, and acacia with a lick of toast. Rich, fresh, focused palate with mature, intense, and precise aromas. Lovely harmony and finesse in this modern treat. Stellar.”
Antonio’s wines are in high demand, and we have very limited cases to share. Hurry to secure yours.
