Il Papavero Prosecco

Flavor Profile
Italian winemaker Scipione Giuliani really is a jack of all trades. Using grapes from up and down the ‘boot,’ he crafts an incredible diversity of red, white and pink wines for his widely popular Papavero range. But born and raised in Conegliano—a.k.a. Prosecco central—in northeast Italy, he takes special pride in his gently effervescent Il Papavero Prosecco. Pop into the fresh, pear-accented sparkler, and we know you’ll be just as excited about its quality and value.
Sitting at the eastern edge of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, Italy's premier sparkling wine region, Conegliano has earned a reputation for its seriously high class bubbles. Ordinarily, vineyard land and grapes would run anyone a pretty penny. But because he’s a local, Scipione is able to leverage long-standing friendships with area growers to source the finest fruit for his bottles.
Made with hand-harvested grapes from ideally situated hillside vineyards, this one bursts to life as soon as it hits your flute. You can expect delightful lemony aromas followed by a bevy of pear flavors, a fine mousse and a whole lot of smiles.
Stock up while you can—Prosecco this good won’t last long!
